RN – Nursing Resource Team (Float) – Nights

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Float as needed across inpatient Adult Behavioral Health, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Medical/Surgical units
- May float to the Emergency Department to care for boarded Medical/Surgical patients
- Floating assignments may occur mid-shift; placement notification is typically communicated approximately 90 minutes before shift start
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips and support patients requiring non-invasive ventilation
- Operate within a large facility environment that includes Medical/Surgical and Critical Care capacity, as well as a Level III Trauma Center
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU, Medical/Surgical, and/or PCU-level care
- Cardiac ICU experience required
- Experience with cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting, particularly with psychiatric or behavioral health patients
- Comfort and flexibility with floating across multiple units and adapting to varied patient populations
