Description
Review patient charts and clinical records to assess medical necessity, level of care, and appropriate resource utilization.
Perform utilization review for inpatient and outpatient cases while ensuring compliance with hospital's policies and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and continuity of care.
Monitor length of stay, denials, and authorization requirements to optimize patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary costs.
Document findings, approvals, and recommendations accurately in the system while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
