In this alliance, Baylor recruits, employs, and oversees physicians. Texas Children’s provides consulting and clinical expertise.

At Children's, Baylor physicians provide medical care that includes subspecialties such as Pediatric Infectious Disease, Pediatric Genetics, Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Neurosurgery and General Pediatrics.

Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, owned by CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, provides inpatient care to approximately 5,000 children, 80,000 emergency department visits (including our freestanding pediatric emergency center in Westover Hills), and 73,000 outpatients visits.
