Unit clerk is allowed to verbally reprimand RNs.  Terrible attitude across the board.  Will be given the worst assignments everytime resulting in safety issues. SICU manager is disconnected from everyone and has no idea what is going on in her unit.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with liver call responsibilities 
• Handle liver transplant cases as priority, with other cases assigned when no liver/transplant surgeries scheduled 
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts 
• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist 
• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment 
• Required experience putting organs back in new patient, not just harvesting 
• Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required 
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) 
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month 
• 40-hour orientation required 
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs 
• Must participate in training students and new staff at this teaching facility
