Was welcomed with open arms and always felt like part of the team. Some physicians prefer the familiarity of using staff nurses only and this is supported, so opportunities can be limited. The weather, local activities (a literal golf Mecca), and culture are top-notch.

I think it was the specific floor I worked on (4E) because every floor I got floated to couldn’t compare. The best staff, fellow nurses, doctors, and admin. I would 100% work here again.

Great hospital if you’re just starting out. People are great, environment is friendly, and patient population is easy to get along with. The compensation is the only downside of this place but other than that it is great.

The department I worked for had a great team and very helpful in my transition to their facility. However, the overall culture and interactions with different disciplines were challenging at times. I would go back as a traveler.

No disposable wipes to clean patients,  wash cloths are used.  Med dispencing system is so outdated, File folders are used to store most of patients meds.

Low pay hard work lazy staff

And the unit I was on made the charge nurse watch your patients, who already had 1-2 patients in their care, giving them 6 telemetry patients, violating the nurse to patient ratio law
