Fishermen’s Community Hospital is an anchor of health and wellness in the heart of the Florida Keys. Built from the ground up on the foundation of the original facility, the new state-of-the-art hospital is designed to meet the needs of the community well into the future. The innovative 37,330-square-foot, 22-bed Fishermen’s Community Hospital is designed to withstand wind speeds of a Category 5 hurricane. The hospital provides specialized services such as 24/7 emergency care with telestroke services to give stroke patients immediate access to Board-certified neurologists; an on-site helipad; eight inpatient beds, including two intensive care beds with 24/7 monitoring; nine emergency department beds; five additional recovery beds; diagnostic imaging; rehabilitation; and laboratory services.

LD staff was the worst ever!!! They have magnet status but their practices are archaic. No SOC or EBP followed especially when narcotics are given to a laboring patient.
