Completely unsafe. I’ve been beaten, choked by patients. Inappropriate techs for the acuity level; scared to intervene during physical codes. Management has complete disregard for the well-being of nursing staff that keep everything in orbit. Will work you like a horse but will cancel your scheduled shift. The nurses there have no medical reasoning skills. They do not care about the physical health of the patient, they quite literally draw the line at psych and will leave patients to rot in their own filth with unmanaged self care practices. If you’re there for a paycheck that’s the only reason I’d work there but I wouldn’t recommend it. Your efforts for improving patient care will go completely unnoticed and unappreciated.
