RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP
• 48-hour weekly guarantee cannot be approved
• Blocked scheduling may be requested
• Maximum RTO: 36 hours
• No call required
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Medical and Progressive Care Unit inpatient experience preferred
• Primary assignment to PCU with potential float between MS 5/6
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• 26 beds in unit
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• EMR system: Cerner
• May be required to work Mother's Day or Memorial Day
• Provide care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
• Care for hemodynamically stable patients, cardiac monitoring, and patients with one non-titratable drip

This regional medical center operates a comprehensive Progressive Care Unit along with Medical Surgical floors providing specialized care for cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, surgical, stroke, and dialysis patients. The facility features a 26-bed PCU that serves hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring and advanced medical care.
