Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis
• Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment and position patients to capture appropriate images
• Perform quality control procedures on equipment
• Use independent judgment and apply all radiation safety standards
• Provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department
• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures when acting as Radiologic Technologist
• Adhere to proper radiation safety procedures and perform procedures accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience required along with prior travel experience
• Required certifications: A.R.R.T. registered, RT/CT Registry, current Nevada X-ray License, current Basic Life Support (BLS)
