RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU with 1:2 patient ratios
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts on a 6-week schedule
• Modified self-scheduling available
• Dress code: Navy or white scrubs (can mix navy bottoms with white top)
• Float to other ICUs (MICU, NSICU, CVICU, CICU) or Step Down units as needed
• Must have trauma ICU experience from Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
• Surgical ICU experience required
• Required certifications: Valid Nursing License, Active ACLS and BLS
• Equipment includes: EVDs, Camino/bolts, wound vacs, Baxter IV pumps, GE Carescape monitors, GE ventilators, iCool machines, Blanketrol blankets, Bair Huggers, Prisma Max CRRT, Zoll devices, Kangaroo feeding pumps, Alaris PCA pumps
• Documentation system: Cerner Power Chart
• Procedures performed: intubation, extubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, A-line placement, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, proning, TPA administration, trach placement, EVD/bolt placement, CRRT/HD, irrigation and debridement
• Must demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility
• No LTAC experience considered
