Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• First to float when needed
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Must hold California CRT and ARRT certification
• Perform 85-100 scans/studies per day on average
• Common imaging studies include brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, biopsies, drainage, extremities, angio, and cryoablation
• Work with Canon 16 slice and Canon 80 slice equipment
• Use Radnet and Merge PACS systems
• Work with Cerner charting system
• Teal scrubs required (dress code)
• IV starts handled by IR nurses or floor/ED nurses as needed
• Department orientation provided by lead technologist or senior technicians
• Work in 2-scanner department with radiologist in-house during days and on-call after hours
