Description
Opportunity:
RN - Tele Float Pool
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
• Required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 maximum attempts within 48 hours of offer)
• Must pass a Sim Lab on day one of orientation
• Float between all Tele and MedSurg units including ICU, Cardiac Tele, and any holding areas
• Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles apart, 15-minute drive)
• Campus and unit notification given 1.5 hours prior to shift start
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 for tele units and 1:4 for MedSurg units
• Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (Saturday/Sunday for days, Friday/Saturday for nights)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be able to interpret EKGs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Use Cerner charting system
• 2-day floor-specific orientation for each unit
• Care for post-surgical patients, cardiac patients, neuro patients, and general medical-surgical patients

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
