Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 36-hour guaranteed hours per week
• Work 10-hour shifts with flexible scheduling allowed
• Evening call required 1-2 times per week starting after day shift ends (around 5:00 PM)
• Weekend call required 1-2 weekends per month (6:30 AM to 6:30 AM, 24-hour call)
• Holiday coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• 30-minute call response time required
• Work in mixed Cath Lab and IR environment with 3 suites handling 8-10 cases per day
• Perform procedure setup, circulate procedures, and administer sedation
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide hemodynamic monitoring
• Function as part of 3-person team responsible for procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate between procedure room and control room with hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Handle both Cath Lab procedures (heart catheterizations, EP studies, pacers, defibrillators) and IR procedures (PICC lines, central lines, stroke interventions)
• Must have 2 years previous Cath Lab and IR experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), COVID Vaccine, NIHSS
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Up to 2 weeks orientation with another RN, added to call rotation in 3rd week
• Scrubs provided by facility
• No floating requirements
