Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required to other units as needed
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for 64-bed medical surgical stroke stepdown unit
• Treat adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Must have 2+ years of medical surgical stroke stepdown experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS and NIHSS
• Active New York nursing license required
• Two recent medical surgical charge/manager RN references required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
