Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Oncology experience required
• Must have 2+ years of medical-surgical experience
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, NIHSS
• Active New York nursing license required
• NURSYS report for license verification required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Must provide 2 recent medical-surgical charge/manager RN references
• Care for patients with oncology, hematology, nephrology, endocrine, GI, dermatology, and general medicine conditions
• Common diagnoses include cancer, oncology, hematology, ESRD, diabetes, GI disorders, abdominal pain, and dermatology conditions
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds (sand beds)
• Administer required drips and medications including Heparin, Lasix, and chemotherapy
• Must live 75+ miles from facility for travel rate (local rate applies for those within 75 miles)
