RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to Medical Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit with 64 beds
• Floating to other units required
• Block scheduling availability but never promised or guaranteed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis patients, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, NIHSS (can be obtained prior to start)
• Active New York nursing license required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
