RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS report and all RN licenses
• Care for patients aged 18 years and older
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Common diagnoses include neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI), cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Local candidates accepted (less than 75 miles from facility)
