Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Tech - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• No call responsibilities required
• 8-week assignment duration
• Must have both CT and X-ray experience
• Operate Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner
• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography required
• Valid New York State license to inject contrast material preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in X-ray required
• Knowledge of CT and radiologic standards, requirements and regulations
• Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies
• Knowledge of CT and radiologic equipment uses and maintenance
• Proficient computer skills and electronic medical record experience required
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions
