RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular step-down, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Serve adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York RN license required
• Block scheduling not guaranteed
