RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• 2+ years of medical-surgical experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Active New York nursing license required
• NURSYS report for license verification required
• RTO (Return to Offer) must be included at time of submission
• Care for adult patients with post-surgical conditions
• Common patient diagnoses include abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity requiring bariatric surgery care
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care for adult patient population
