RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Medical-Surgical Step-down unit position
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
• 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Work with EMR systems: Paragon and Pyxis
• Provide acute care nursing services in step-down environment
• Monitor and care for patients requiring intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical units
