RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Schedule varies depending on unit needs - block schedule not available
• Required to take late stays based on unit requirements
• Work on thoracic/vascular team in 56-bed OR (inpatient and outpatient) with 5 procedural rooms
• Must have thoracic/vascular experience - required for this position
• Must be proficient in endovascular cases for both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Must have scrub experience and ability to scrub
• Minimum 2 years OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Handle all case types including neuro, trauma, general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory orthopedic, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Serve adult patient population only - no pediatrics
• Work in Level 1 trauma center environment
• Handle transplant and trauma/neuro cases
• May float between OR units but not locations
• BLS certification required
• Tennessee or compact nursing license required
• Orientation dates: 6/1, 6/22, 6/29 only
