RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro/Trauma Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays
• Float to multiple in-patient units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Unit
• Current Wisconsin license required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Flu vaccination required
• Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care based on individualized patient needs
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and experience
• Experienced nurses preferred for this position
