Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographs as requested by physicians
• Adjust technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation exposure
• Follow strict radiation safety practices and protocols
• Assume temporary responsibility for patients during x-ray procedures
• Operate portable equipment and C-arm imaging systems
• Transport patients as needed for procedures
• Use hospital computer system and PACS system for image management
• Perform clerical tasks related to patient documentation and scheduling
• Provide services meeting the psycho-social needs of the patient population
• Must perform CT scans as primary responsibility
• Work with diverse patient populations requiring specialized care approaches
