Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts
• Work as part of the Diagnostic Imaging team with in-depth knowledge of all clinical ultrasound applications
• Serve as an in-house training resource for peers, vendors, and applications personnel
• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures and corroborate patient clinical history
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, and minimize patient anxiety
• Select and operate ultrasound equipment and associated devices to achieve desired results
• Position patient and equipment to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper identification is recorded
• Practice aseptic techniques and maintain Universal precautions
• May float to other departments where qualified to perform patient care
• Required certifications: OBMI and ARDMS registered US Sonographer, current BLS certification
• Preferred: CRASE training (required if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience required
• Associate or bachelor's degree from CAHEA accredited sonography program or equivalent required
