RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Work day shifts in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Must be experienced in ICU/PCU areas and willing to float to Medical Surgical Unit as needed
• Active Washington state RN license required
• Identify patient and family education needs and provide appropriate education
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures including side rails, restraints, and safe equipment use
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation of all equipment in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas
• Perform troubleshooting techniques and follow repair procedures for essential equipment
• Implement infection control and isolation procedures with proper documentation
• Maintain complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
• Complete physician orders in a timely manner and perform 24-hour order checks
• Provide comprehensive change of shift reports to oncoming staff
• Communicate effectively with other departments
• Report critical lab values to physicians according to policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies
