Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirements apply with variable scheduling
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 18 months of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIH preferred)
• Indiana state nursing license must be in hand prior to start date
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required skills: Telemetry, IV starts, cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, Level I-IV experience
• Preferred experience: Ventilators, charge nurse experience, conscious sedation
• Unit specializes in cardiac and medical PCU serving as true ICU stepdown
• Handle heart catheterizations, cardiac drips including Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Use Cerner charting system
• Dress code: red scrub top, black scrub bottoms
• Free parking provided

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
