Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work telemetry night shifts with 12-hour schedule (3 twelve-hour shifts for 36 guaranteed hours)
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 patients
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must work 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH; ACLS and CPI preferred
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedules not accommodated
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must have telemetry and cardiac rhythm reading experience
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips required (no titration)
• Must be comfortable with external pacemaker monitoring and chest tube management
• Navy scrub color required
• No artificial nails or nail enhancements allowed
• No crocs with holes permitted
• Must work weekends and holidays
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Adult patient population
• Daily census of 14 patients in 28-bed unit

The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The telemetry unit specializes in cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring and manages conditions such as post-PCI care, chest tubes, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
