Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with Friday as part of regular weekdays
• On-call requirements include 1 night per week from 12:00 AM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend on-call coverage every 5th weekend (Saturday 4:00 PM to Sunday 8:00 AM and Sunday 8:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM)
• 80 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult acute care and outpatient patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 30 patients
• Operate 2 MRI rooms with Phillips scanners
• Perform various MRI procedures including abdomen, breast, chest, brain, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Use Centricity charting system for documentation
• No floating between departments required
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (R) (MR)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Phillips MRI experience preferred
• PA license not required
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• PA fingerprints and childline clearance required
