Job Details:

• Work 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts with liver transplant call responsibilities
• Handle other surgical cases when no liver/transplant procedures are scheduled
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience (non-negotiable)
• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment
• Required experience with transplant procedures including placing organs in new patients, not just harvesting
• 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff at this teaching facility
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle daily census of 55-60 patients across 18 operating rooms
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
