Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with 36 or 48 hour weekly schedules
• 13-week assignment with block scheduling
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with every other holiday rotation (Christmas RTO not approved)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in 71-bed emergency department with daily census of 165 patients
• Float within scope of practice within the facility as needed
• 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Must have either 1 year Level I trauma experience or 2 years Level II trauma experience
• Pediatric patient experience required (does not need to be dedicated pediatric ER)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (can submit with TNCC pending)
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Virginia nursing license required (can submit with pending license)
• Nursys verification required for submission
• Up to 40 hours maximum approved time off per contract
• References required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
