Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• 13-week assignment with day shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week with block scheduling
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with every other holiday commitment (Christmas RTO unavailable)
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Up to 40 hours of pre-approved time off available per contract
• 2 years of ER experience required with specific trauma level requirements
• Must have either 1 year of Level 1 trauma facility experience OR 2 years of Level 2 trauma facility experience
• Pediatric patient experience required but does not need to be dedicated pediatric ER
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start)
• Virginia license required (can submit with pending license but must have in-hand Wednesday before start date)
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Nursys verification required for submittal
• Float within scope of practice within the facility
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, and chest pain (STEMI) center cases
• Work in 71-bed emergency department with daily census of 165 visits
• Access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
