Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week
• Float to medical surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River tower
• Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6:1)
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks for guaranteed hours
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Must wear solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system used
• Skills required include isolation precautions, med/surg care, oxygen administration, IV management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Care for adult patients with various medical surgical conditions
• Block schedule accommodations possible with manager approval
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
