Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work as Med Surg Float Pool RN with 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Float to med surg floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower
• Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6:1)
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Scrub requirements: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system used
• Skills include isolation precautions, med/surg care, oxygen administration, IV management, and rapid response team utilization
• Care for adult patients with various medical-surgical diagnoses
• Block schedule accommodations possible with manager approval
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
