Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts in the Intensive Care Unit
• 36 hours per week guaranteed for 3x12 hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:2 (nurse to patient)
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts in 6-week period, every other weekend
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must have minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Current nursing license required (Missouri or compact license)
• Experience with hemodynamics and ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with bedside trachs and PEGs
• Experience with frequent cardiac outpatient monitoring
• Skills include arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration, and management of critically ill patients
• Work with specialized equipment including Prismax CRRT, IABP, and Impella
• Navy scrubs required
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• RTO restrictions: maximum 7 days per 13-week contract
• Travel experience required
• Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted
