Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with options for day shifts (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM) or evening shifts (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients in cardiovascular operating room
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Unit has 10 beds with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Complete modules during orientation (1-5 hours average, recorded through e-learning)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, CA RN Licensure
• CNOR and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience with orthopedics/vascular/robotic surgery required
• CVOR experience required
• Scrubbing experience highly recommended
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal
• Only one holiday time off will be approved
