Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Weekend block schedule working Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6 with average daily census of 16
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, BCLS
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Scrub color requirement: light gray/silver
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients including total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic, medical covid, and oral surgery patients
• Skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, and wound care
• Must be able to float to MS and ICU units as needed
• Every other weekend required per facility policy
• 13 weekend shifts required per contract
• One pre-approved time off allowed

The facility utilizes EPIC charting system and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
