Description
Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work night shifts on 6North, a 12-bed stepdown unit utilizing critical care and neuroscience principles
• 13-week assignment with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients transferring from Neuro ICU including neuro trauma, hemorrhages, ENT cancer patients, post-operative spine patients
• Must have 2 years of experience and Epic charting system experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (can be obtained before start)
• Must adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
• Will accept pending VA license but must be in-hand by Wednesday before start date
• BSN preferred
• Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved per contract
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with average daily census of 10 patients
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Manage patients with neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and post-surgical neurology patients

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
