Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• 2:1 patient ratio maintained for days, nights, and weekends
• Required to float to all inpatient units including ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg
• 4 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• California RN licensure required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 20 orientation hours provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census ranges from 16-20 patients
• 24-bed unit capacity
• Extensive skills required including ECMO care, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of various cardiac devices
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, pacemakers, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Provide care for CVICU patients recovering from heart surgery, neurological ICU patients including stroke and craniotomy cases, SICU patients, and MICU patients with conditions like sepsis and DKA
