Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Work on 26-bed unit caring primarily for CHF patients, acute MIs, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Floating to other units is required
• Must be proficient in EPIC charting system
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Scrub color requirements: Any combination of navy and white
• Skills required: Cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, respiratory care including nasal cannula and oxygen face masks, isolation precautions, blood product administration, and wound care
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
