Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in the 24-bed Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU (TCV ICU)
• Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Maximum 40 hours time off allowed
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement/repair, heart transplantation, and lung transplantation
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Must adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
• Can submit with VA license pending but must have license in-hand by Wednesday before start date
• 2 years of experience required, previous charge experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Nursys verification required for submittal
• 24-hour orientation with non-billable modules up to 16 hours
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 19
• Must be comfortable with specialized equipment including CRRT, PA catheters, chest tubes, ECMO, IABP, and ventilators
