Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
• Care for 16-bed unit treating patients with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post cardiac arrest/targeted temperature management, and respiratory failure/shock
• Manage complex equipment including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
• EPIC charting experience is required
• New York license must be in hand to submit
• Must reside over 75 mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Float to other units as needed
• Skills required include ventilated patient care, arterial line management, central line care, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, dysrhythmia interpretation, ABG interpretation, and continuous IV sedation
• Complete pre-start modules with up to 5 billable hours
