Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Must have oncology experience
• Required certifications: Chemo Cert, ACLS/BLS
• EPIC charting experience is required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• Float to Med Surg units as needed
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy and white
• Care for patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacological interventions
• Work on 36-bed Hematology/Oncology unit with developing bone marrow transplant program
• Treat patients actively receiving chemotherapy, recovering counts, admitted with chemo side effects
• Handle high acuity, fast-paced environment
• Opportunity to cross train in MICU for BMT patient population
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• First time travelers accepted
