Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (will accept first-time travelers)
• Maryland license must be in hand prior to start date
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certification
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Work with scanner equipment including GE and Siemens
• Required experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT
• Perform CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques
• Review requisitions and verify patient information and exam details
• Adjust equipment and select technical factors for proper radiographic exposure
• Utilize standard positioning techniques for optimal diagnostic imaging
• Select appropriate protocols for CT scan procedures
• Order IV and oral contrast in PowerChart
• Document contrast administration and scan paperwork into Cerner
• Complete examinations, screenings, consents, and paper scanning in timely manner
• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• May float within facility and potentially to nearby affiliate hospital
• Complete virtual modules on first day (8 hours for new starts)
