Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Manage patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Medical Surgical patients
• Work on 26-bed unit specializing in care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacological interventions
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be proficient in EPIC charting system
• BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• Floating to other units required
• Must live more than 75-mile radius from facility (locals not accepted)
• Required skills include cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required including peripheral line care and management
• Respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Must follow isolation precautions protocols
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, 5 hours billable)
