Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• MS/Tele and PCU experience required
• Patient ratios of 5:1 for both days and nights
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• 3 shifts guaranteed per 13-week contract
• Regular floating required between departments, units and facilities
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Compact License
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for patients who have undergone bariatric surgery, urology cases, hepatobiliary procedures, colorectal surgeries, and trauma patients
• Experience with isolation precautions and wound care/wound vac required
• Work with specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, ketamine drips, lidocaine infusions, and various drainage tubes
• Handle patients with CBI, long-term catheters, multiple drains, and wound vacs
• Must have compact license or both Kansas and Missouri licenses at submission
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Complete Epic training modules, infusion pump training, and glucometer training prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
