Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with adults and geriatrics
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday availability every other holiday if needed
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have active New York Single State RN license (NY is not compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Floating required within skillset to ICU and/or medical-surgical units
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy blue and white
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Must submit RTO/block scheduling requests upon submission
• Provide telemetry and step-down level care for PCU/DOU/IMC patients
• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Manage cardiac drips without titration and administer blood products
• Provide central and peripheral line care and management
• Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Maintain isolation precautions and utilize Rapid Response/Code teams
• Care for long-term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery patients, and any surgical procedures requiring step-down level care
