Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed
• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neuroscience experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 55 patients across 18 operating rooms
• 40-hour orientation program required
• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility
• Complete time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized once assignment is confirmed
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Must be nicotine-free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Extensive surgical skills required including robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgical cases, and minimally invasive procedures
