Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Required to float within skillset
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Must have 1 year of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• RNs within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Required clinical skills include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total)

This 528-bed acute care teaching facility is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including cardiovascular, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency care, birthing services, and advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology.
