Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Must work Thursday - Saturday block schedule (non-negotiable)
• Work in Universal Care Unit and assist with overflow patient care (MS, MS/Tele)
• May float within the hospital based on UCU census
• Care for patients ranging from Med Surg to PCU-level acuity
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Skills include ER holding, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, telemetry remote monitoring, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• On-site drug screen required with multiple panels
• Must have active license before start date
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start
• Expected to work some holidays

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
